The NEOM Project was announced as part of the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030. The announcement was accompanied by details about the nine sectors investing in the project for the future of human civilization (NEOM).

NEOM Bay Airport received its first Saudia flight, transporting 130 employees for their first meeting on the project site.

Saudia celebrated the inaugural commercial flight after a flight from Riyadh to NEOM Bay Airport and its successful conversion into a commercial airport.

The launch of The Line city project in NEOM was announced, representing a model for urban living in harmony with nature, free from noise and pollution.

NEOM Company announced the establishment of (Oxagon), an industrial city within NEOM's master plan, reflecting NEOM's vision for a clean future.

The Trojena Project was announced to become a global tourist destination in mountain tourism, and environmentally friendly.

A strategic partnership was announced between NEOM and Saudia to operate regular flights from NEOM Bay Airport to selected destinations. Due to its strategic location at the crossroads of continents, this airport will enable about 40 percent of the world's population to reach it in less than four hours.

NEOM's Board of Directors released the designs of The Line city, showcasing a global model that achieves balance and harmony with nature. The announcement included details about the city such as its area, construction methods, width, length, and capacity to accommodate residents.

The development of Sindalah Island, NEOM's first nautical tourism destination, was announced. It is designed to be the main gateway to cruises in the Red Sea and to offer world-class hospitality and entertainment experiences.

NEOM's Board of Directors announced the development of Leyja as a new tourist destination, featuring three hotels and several facilities nestled between valleys and mountains in NEOM. Leyja is located in a historical area starting from the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba, extending through natural terrains in a winding valley between mountains up to four hundred m high.

NEOM's Board of Directors announced the development of Epicon as a tourist destination featuring facilities designed sustainably and innovatively, in harmony with its location on the Gulf of Aqaba. It includes two towers, one 225 m high and the other 275 m high.

The announcement of Siranna as a tourist destination on the Gulf of Aqaba coast provides an ideal environment for beachfront living while adhering to sustainability principles and nature conservation.

The development of Utamo was announced to offer a series of diverse experiences in arts and entertainment, hold innovative events, and host global artists.

NEOM's Board of Directors announced Norlana destination as a residential complex accommodating three thousand residents. The destination also includes palaces, apartments, and beach villas, designed to offer residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy tranquil natural surroundings.

Aquellum destination was announced. It is a community inspired by future lifestyles, including residential and hotel units and various facilities. It is located on the Gulf of Aqaba coast, and surrounded by mountain ranges up to 450 m high.

NEOM's Board of Directors announced the Magna Project, NEOM's coastal tourism area on the Gulf of Aqaba coast, encompassing twelve main destinations: Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, Jaumur, Elanan, Gidori, Treyam and Xaynor.
