1978

Prince Sultan Military Medical City, located in the capital, Riyadh, specializes in providing services to members of the armed forces and their families, in twenty-three medical and surgical specialties. It has a total capacity of 920 beds.

1982

King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah, comprises King Khalid Hospital. The latter bears the city's former name and represents its first facility. The city also includes several specialized medical centers.

1983

King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh specializes in providing services to members of the National Guard and their families. It comprises several hospitals, departments, and medical centers. It has a total capacity of around two thousand beds.

2004

King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh is a standard reference in specialized medical services for the treatment of incurable illnesses. It is located in the capital, Riyadh, and has a total capacity of around 1,200 beds.

2009

King Abdullah Medical City, headquartered in Makkah al-Mukarramah, serves Hajj and Umrah performers. It assumes an essential role in supporting the medical authorities during the Hajj season.

2021

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Medical City comprises three hospitals, the Maternity and Children's Hospital, Madinah Hospital, and the Eradah Complex for Mental Health. It is located in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah. It is the first comprehensive medical city serving the Province, with a capacity of 1,246 beds.
