King Fahad Medical City

King Fahad Medical City is an entity responsible for providing medical and healthcare services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was founded during the reign of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud in 1983. It was opened during the reign of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud in 2004. The headquarters is located in Riyadh and has a construction cost of about SAR2.3 Bn. It is a standard reference in specialized medical services for the treatment of critical diseases.

King Fahad Medical City includes several hospitals and medical centers, including the Main Hospital, the Children's Specialized Hospital, the Medical Rehabilitation Hospital, the National Neuroscience Institute, the King Salman Heart Center, the Oncology Center, the Women Specialized Hospital, and the Obesity, Endocrine, and Metabolism Center. The total capacity of King Fahad Medical City is 1,200 beds.

The Main Hospital at King Fahad Medical City consists of several departments, including the Department of Pulmonology and Critical Care, the Department of Oral and Dental Medicine, the Family Medicine and Employee Health Department, the Surgical Specialties Department, the Internal Medicine Department, and the Oncology Surgery Department.
