Saudi Healthcare Simulation Conference 2022

The Saudi Healthcare Simulation Conference 2022 was an event that brought together specialists in the healthcare field to enrich the applications of simulation and healthcare practices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The conference's first edition was launched in 2015, and its fifth edition was held in Riyadh City on November 6, 2022, lasting for five days under the theme "Simulation of Healthcare to the Fullest Extent."

The Saudi Healthcare Simulation Conference 2022 aimed to support healthcare simulation applications and practices in Saudi Arabia. It served as an opportunity to keep pace with global advancements in the field and provided a platform for engaging with decision-makers to address its challenges. Additionally, it functioned as a venue for concluding agreements and memorandums of understanding with stakeholders inside and outside Saudi Arabia.

In its fifth edition, the Saudi Healthcare Simulation Conference 2022 featured multiple activities, including more than fifteen dialogue discussions and around forty workshops showcasing the latest advancements in healthcare simulation technologies. It also hosted specialized lectures, highlighted success stories in healthcare, and organized scientific competitions such as the Moulage Competition, Research Incubator Competition, and the healthcare simulation hackathon, which aimed to develop technological solutions for healthcare simulation and patient service.

It also included specialized educational tracks in simulation, covering field military medical simulation training, healthcare simulation-based nursing education, techniques and technology in the field, and education through (standard patients).

The conference also featured an accompanying exhibition for relevant private and government stakeholders. Over its five-day duration, it presented a scientific program accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties with 168 continuing education hours.
