Balqarn Governorate
Balqarn Governorate (Balqarn) is one governorate of Aseer Province, located in the southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It ranks sixth in terms of population in Aseer Province, with a population of 60,012 inhabitants, according to the Saudi Census 2022.

Borders
Balqarn is located to the northwest of Aseer Province, 227 km north of the city of Abha, the headquarters of the province’s emirate. It is bordered to the north by Al-Bahah Province, to the west by Makkah Al-Mukarramah Province, to the east by Bishah Governorate, and to the south by the governorates of Al-Namas and Al-Majardah.

Balqarn is served by Abha Airport, the nearest airport to it. The airport is 242 km away from the city center. Two main roads pass through the governorate.
