What Are the Components of King Salman Park Project?

King Salman Park is an environmental, recreational, cultural, and investment project covering a total area exceeding sixteen  km². It consists of the following main components:

- Environmental elements include green spaces exceeding eleven km², a circular pedestrian walkway 7.2 km in length, five train stations connecting the park to main roads, ten bus stations linking the park to main roads, and various water features spread over an area of three hundred thousand m².

- The Royal Arts Complex, spanning an area of five hundred thousand m², features a national theater with a capacity of 2,300 seats, a 110 m tall museum, and a specialized library housing over five hundred thousand books on culture and arts. It also includes three academies focused on traditional visual arts, cultural heritage and restoration, performing arts, and three cinema halls.

- Cultural facilities include seven museums: the Aviation Museum, Astronomy Museum, Space Museum, Science Museum, Plant Museum, Architecture Museum, and Virtual Reality Museum, along with celebration squares covering areas up to forty thousand m², in addition to artistic landmarks and icons.

- Sports facilities include the Royal Golf Course spanning 850,000 m², a sports complex covering fifty thousand m², virtual reality courts, a skydiving and hot-air ballooning center, an equestrian center, and tracks for running and cycling.

- Visitor Center, an environmental and cultural center covering eighty thousand m², includes multi-purpose halls, a meeting room, interactive shows about the park, a tree and plant nursery, open spaces and squares, and food and beverage (F&B) outlets.

- Housing and hotel facilities include residential complexes spanning 1.6 million m², offering 12,000 housing units and sixteen hotels over an area of 194,000 m², containing 2,300 hotel units. The commercial spaces for restaurants, coffee shops, and retail sector exceed five hundred thousand m², while office building complexes span six hundred thousand m².

- Public facilities and services include mosques, security, health, educational, and social centers, public libraries, parking buildings with a total area of 280,000 m², main and local roads, and pedestrian walkways.
