Upon completion of The Line City in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accessing it will require the use of "The Spine" train, a high-speed metro system designated for passenger and freight transport. It relies on an underground network for its services. The "The Spine" network, which includes the high-speed train, will connect the international airport to the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba via four stations. Additionally, the metro network will facilitate connections between residential areas within the city on the other hand.

Traveling to the new international airport and boarding the high-speed train to reach any part of NEOM will be possible by mid-2026.

The airport will serve as a major gateway for the Kingdom and an integral part of the "The Line" city located within the NEOM project on the Red Sea coast. Unlike traditional airports that require passage through passport control and waiting for baggage claim, NEOM International Airport will offer an advanced experience for travelers. Those arriving in the area via NEOM-specific airlines will enjoy smooth, fast, and secure travel procedures facilitated by artificial intelligence. Also, 40 percent of the world's population will be able to reach The Line within six hours by air.

Within the city, everyone will be able to reach all city facilities within a five-minute walk. The city's public transportation network, with its advanced technologies, will provide a journey between the farthest points in the city within twenty minutes maximum. The city will have no cars, streets, or carbon emissions, while artificial intelligence technologies will enhance all automated services within the city.

"The Line" city introduces a new approach to urban design centered around the concept of "zero gravity," which involves distributing and constructing city components in vertical layers, allowing people to move in all three directions (upward, downward, and horizontally on each side). Unlike the concept of towering skyscrapers, this idea facilitates the movement between daily necessities such as workplaces, schools, and homes within five minutes. The highly advanced design of the city will also provide quick and direct access to nature within a two-minute walk through open spaces at various levels and elevations.
