Balqarn Governorate is one governorate of Aseer Province, located in the southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It ranks sixth in terms of population in Aseer Province, with a population of 60,012 inhabitants, according to the 2022 Saudi Census.

Balqarn is located to the northwest of Aseer Province, 227 km north of the city of Abha, the headquarters of the province’s emirate. It is bordered to the north by al-Bahah Province, to the west by Makkah al-Mukarramah Province, to the east by Bishah Governorate, and to the south by the governorates of an-Namas and al-Majardah.
