What Is Savvy Games Group Project?

It is a Saudi project concerned with the development of the video games and sport sector locally and internationally. It is one of the largest investments in the electronic gaming sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is supported by the Public Investment Fund. The fund announced the launch of Savvy Games Group on January 26, 2022. The Board of Directors of the Savvy Group is chaired by the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz.

Savvy Group supports the National Gaming and Esports Strategy in Saudi Arabia. It seeks to establish 250 video game companies in Saudi Arabia, ultimately contributing to the creation of 39,000 jobs and raising the sector's gross domestic product contribution to SAR50 billion by 2030.
