Haytham Al-Ohali
Haytham Abdulrahman Al-Ohali has served as Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission at the excellent rank since February 12, 2026. He previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology. He is a recipient of the Order of King Abdulaziz (First Class).
Education of Haytham Al-Ohali
Haytham Al-Ohali graduated from Seattle University in the United States of America (USA), where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Positions held by Haytham Al-Ohali
Haytham Al-Ohali served as the Deputy Director-General of the International Computer Driving License (ECDL) organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 2003 and 2006. During this period, he focused on the education sector and contributed to the establishment of a program aimed at improving knowledge in information technology.
In 2006, Haytham Al-Ohali joined Cisco Saudi Arabia and became its general manager in 2017. During his tenure, he managed several public-private partnerships and contributed to clients' digital transformation journeys. He also served on Cisco Saudi Arabia's Corporate Social Responsibility Board.
On June 2, 2018, a Royal Decree was issued appointing him Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology at the excellent rank, a position he held until the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission on February 12, 2026. He is also a board member of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property and a board member of the Digital Government Authority.
