The Arab Club Champions Cup is an annual regional football competition organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations, where champion clubs from the Arab world compete.
A total of thirty-seven teams compete in the tournament: nineteen from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and eighteen from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The competition was first launched in 1982 under the name "Arab Club Championship for League Champions." It has been held eighteen times, with Saudi clubs winning the title nine times through six different Saudi teams: al-Ettifaq, al-Shabab, al-Hilal, al-Ahli, al-Ittihad, and al-Nassr.
Al-Ettifaq Club
Al-Ettifaq won this championship twice. The first victory was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1984, and the second was in the sixth edition held in the United Arab Emirates in 1988.
Al-Shabab Club
Al-Shabab won the title twice. The first was in the eighth edition held in Qatar in 1992, and the second in the fifteenth edition held in Egypt in 1999.
Al-Hilal Club
Al-Hilal won the tenth edition of the championship in 1994, which was held in Riyadh. Al-Hilal successfully defended its title the following year, winning the eleventh edition in 1995, also held in Riyadh.
Al-Ahli Club
In 2003, al-Ittihad hosted the championship, and al-Ahli won the title for the first time in its history after defeating Tunisia's Club Africain in the final.
Al-Ittihad Club
Al-Ittihad won the Arab Club Champions Cup for the first time in its history in 2005 by defeating Tunisia's CS Sfaxien in both the home and away legs.
Al-Nassr Club
In 2023, al-Nassr's senior football team won the King Salman Club Cup by defeating al-Hilal at King Fahd Sport City Stadium in Taif.
