Al-Nassr Club is a sport club in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the clubs of the Saudi Pro League. It is based in Riyadh and is the first Saudi and Asian club to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Establishment of Al-Nassr Club

Al-Nassr Club was founded on October 24, 1955, by Zaid and Hussein, the sons of Mutlaq Al-Jabaa and their peers in their neighborhood. The name Al-Nassr was chosen for the club because it reflects victory and the joy of winning. Yellow and blue were chosen for the club, where yellow reflects the color of the desert, and blue symbolizes the color of the waters surrounding the Arabian Peninsula.

The logo of al-Nassr is circular in shape and features a map of the Arabian Peninsula at its center. The word 'Nassr' (Arabic for victory) is written in the middle, topped with a crown. At the top of the logo is the club’s name in English, and below it reads "FOOTBALL CLUB." The logo and the team’s uniform are yellow and blue.

The club has 979 registered players and is involved in sixteen sports: football, basketball, cycling, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, taekwondo, karate, judo, swimming, diving, athletics, weightlifting, badminton, futsal, and archery. The club is involved in eight women's sports with 103 registered female players. The club encompasses nineteen departments employing 168 employees.

Al-Nassr Club Company

On June 5, 2023, the Ministry of Sport announced the transformation of Al-Nassr Club into a company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), along with the establishment of an investment fund for the company. The club's value would be deposited into the investment fund in exchange for the transfer of ownership. The objective is to achieve sustainable returns for the club company. The PIF would hold a 75 percent stake in the company, with the remaining 25 percent owned by a non-profit organization. This initiative aligns with the investment and privatization project launched by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Women of Al-Nassr Club

Al-Nassr Club was the first Saudi club to win the Women's Premier League Cup in its first edition for the 2022-2023 season after the women's team won over Al-Yamamah Club with a score of three to two. Al-Nassr Club women's team won the league title for the second time in a row in the 2023-2024 season after winning over Al-Hilal Club with a score of four to two.

Notable achievements of Al-Nassr Club

Al-Nassr Club's participation in the FIFA Club World Cup in Brazil back in 2000 is considered the most notable achievement in the club's history. In fact, it was part of the group that included Real Madrid CF, Raja CA, and Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. Fuad Anwar, Fahad Al-Harifi, Muhaisen Al-Jumaan, Mohammed Al-Khojali, Ibrahim Al-Shuwaie, Fahad Al-Mehalel, Fahad Al-Ghesheyan, Ahmed Bahja, a Moroccan player, and Algerian Musa Sayb, were among the most prominent players who represented Al-Nassr Club in this historic participation. The team was led by Serbian coach Milan Živadinović.

Official stadium of Al-Nassr Club

In 2020, Al-Nassr Club was able to obtain access to King Saud University Stadium, later known as 'Mrsool Park,' for ten years. The stadium's name was later changed to Al-Awwal Park due to sponsorship contracts. The stadium is located at King Saud University in Riyadh, on Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh Street. It is one of the stadiums that will host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

Fursan Al-Alami

It is a fan group founded in 2011. It consists of a group of Al-Nassr Club's fans who are united by a single forum and one color. They are keen to encourage the team and accompany it wherever it goes, where they cheer for the team by chanting slogans and songs and waving the team's own colors, based on Latin or European cheering styles.
