- The cost of the Haramain High-Speed Train reached SAR60 billion, and it was inaugurated in 2018.

- The train reduces travel time between Makkah al-Mukarramah and al-Madinah al-Munawwarah to approximately two hours.

The project relies on thirty-five electric trains.

Each train consists of thirteen carriages.

It operates on electric power.

Speed: three hundred km/h.

Stations: Makkah al-Mukarramah, al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, Jeddah, King Abdullah Economic City, and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

Each train has a capacity of 417 seats across two classes: business and economy, with a cafeteria on board.

Business class:

Includes 113 seats, with two designated for individuals with special needs.

Economy class:

Includes 304 seats.

Cafeteria:

It is located in the fifth carriage of every train.

Services are provided throughout the journey.
