The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted the Formula One World Championship for the first time in its history, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sport, the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, and the Quality of Life Program. This partnership extends for fifteen years with Formula One, and the race is held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit overlooking the Red Sea coast, west of the Kingdom.

Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021

The inaugural Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix race began on December 5, 2021. The Jeddah Corniche Circuit for Formula One was built in record time, taking less than twelve months. It is one of the longest street circuit in the world, spanning 6.175 km, and one of the fastest, with an average speed of 252 km per hour per lap. The circuit features twenty-seven turns.

It was named the "Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix" following the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and stc to strengthen local collaboration. The first-place winner was British Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton.

The Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2022 race began on March 25, 2022, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The race featured twenty drivers representing ten global teams. This edition introduced new Formula One car designs with features such as a focus on ground effect, eighteen-inch tires, and a redesigned front wing. The race was won by Dutch driver Max Verstappen.

Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023

The competition for the world's best drivers, the Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, was held for the third time at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit from March 17 to 19, 2023. The race was won by Mexican driver Sergio Perez of the Red Bull team, in front of a crowd of over 140,000 spectators who attended to watch the championship and enjoy a concert by American artists Calvin Harris and Travis Scott.

For the second time, Dutch driver Max Verstappen won the Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, held in its fourth edition at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit from March 7 to 9, 2024. The race featured twenty drivers representing ten global teams. Max Verstappen had previously won the race for the first time in 2022, marking the third consecutive victory for Red Bull Racing drivers, following his teammate, Mexican driver Sergio Perez, in 2023.
