Enhancing the digital infrastructure for the Formula One stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023

The stc Group provided the 2023 edition of the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix with digital infrastructure for the third consecutive year.

The group provided the best possible 5G networks in terms of speed, data capacity, and coverage reaching 100 percent, along with high-speed connectivity services for both drivers and audience. This also supported seamless data exchange between drivers and engineering teams at high speeds.

In line with the development of communication technologies for this global event, the enhanced stc network technologies enabled sensors and components on Formula One cars to transmit data between each other via integrated networks, as well as encrypt and send this data to teams via radio frequencies. Additionally, stc produced a Saudi version of the Formula One race music using local musical instruments performed by a Saudi orchestra, with top local talents.

They are the first line of defense for protecting both the driver and the circuit. The participating drivers and their teams rely on them as the first responders in case of any incidents occurring on the circuit before, during, and after the race. Their well-distributed presence around the circuit also allows them to assist in case of any vehicle breakdowns during the race.
