Nesma Airlines is a national commercial air operator and a member of Nesma Holding Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is licensed by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to operate a project to link the northern provinces of the Kingdom through an air route using a network of airports.
Nesma Airlines operating Hail Hub Airport
Nesma Airlines operates Hail Hub Airport, managing a route that covers twelve destinations in the northern cities of the Kingdom, using a fleet of ATR 72-600, Airbus A319, A320, and A321 aircraft.
Nesma Airlines launched its first flight on October 27, 2016. The company has chosen Hail City as the center of its business operations after it was designated to operate Hail Hub Airport, which is the first national project for hub airports. The airport aims to facilitate the travel of the Kingdom's residents between its cities and neighboring countries and reduce dependence on international airports.
Nesma Airlines flights
Nesma Airlines initially operated two daily flights from Hail Hub Airport to al-Qaisumah and Tabuk cities (round trips). Over time, additional flights were gradually introduced to other cities and provinces, including Hail, Rafha, al-Jawf, al-Qurayyat, Ar'ar, Qassim, and al-Madinah al-Munawwarah. This expanded network eventually connected all Saudi airports to Hail Hub Airport, particularly those in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, in addition to launching international flights.
Nesma Airlines tickets
Nesma Airlines sells tickets through its official website, company-owned sales outlets, and travel agents. In 2016, the company received from Hail Hub Airport's management designated areas within the airport boundaries to begin preparations for an aircraft maintenance facility, an in-flight catering site, and an operations center for flight services at Hail Airport.
