Cities built with the aim of providing and developing industrial lands in the Kingdom pf Saudi Arabia to establish and operate factories that develop infrastructure and services, such as electricity and water in order to meet the requirements of industrialists and investors, and prepare them for an investment environment. The Kingdom offers incentives for factories in industrial cities, such as customs exemptions and a symbolic rental value.
Industrial cities in the Kingdom cover about 980 million m. The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) supervises over thirty-five industrial cities. Industrial cities are distributed in the regions and cities of the Kingdom: Riyadh First Industrial City, Riyadh Second Industrial City, Riyadh Third Industrial City, Jeddah First Industrial City, Jeddah Second Industrial City, Jeddah Third Industrial City, Rabigh Industrial City, Dammam First Industrial City, Dammam Second Industrial City, Dammam Third Industrial City, Sudair City for Industry and Businesses, Qassim First Industrial City, Qassim Second Industrial City, al-Kharj Industrial City, and Ha’il Industrial City.
Industrial cities are also distributed in al-Ahsa, al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, Makkah al-Mukarramah, Tabuk, al-Bahah, Taif, Dhurma, al-Zulfi, Shaqra, Hafar al-Batin, Arar, Najran, Jazan, Aseer, and the industrial city in Wa'ad al-Shamal.
