Al-Kholood Club is a Saudi sports club located in ar-Rass Governorate, Qassim Province. The club was founded in 1970, and its colors are red, green, and white. Al-Kholood FC competes in the ROSHN Saudi League after being promoted from the Yelo League for the first time in its history during the 2024 season.

Club's sports

The club has 260 registered players and offers six sports, including football, futsal, wrestling, cycling, table tennis, and badminton. Additionally, the club supports various sports for individuals with special needs, such as boccia, swimming, goalball, table tennis, volleyball, athletics, football, basketball, and weightlifting.

Milestones in al-Kholood Club's history

Participation in the Third Division League in 2013.

Promotion to the Second Division League in 2017.

Promotion to the Yelo League (First Division League) in 2020.

Promotion to the ROSHN Saudi League in 2024.

Club privatization

On July 3, 2024, the Ministry of Sport announced the beginning of the second phase of the second track in the sports clubs' investment and privatization project, in coordination with the National Center for Privatization. This followed the approval by the Council of Ministers on July 2, 2024, of the project document to privatize fourteen sports clubs from various leagues, including al-Kholood Club in ar-Rass.
