Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium is one of the projects of Qiddiya Investment Company. It is named after His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the crown prince and prime minister. The stadium is considered one of the prominent stadiums in the world and is a candidate for hosting the 2034 World Cup. It will feature technologies and capabilities never before implemented in similar projects and will host sports, cultural, and artistic events.

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium is located in the heart of the economically and touristically promising city of Qiddiya, just forty minutes from Riyadh City. Situated atop one of the peaks of the Tuwaiq Mountains at an elevation of two hundred m, the stadium features an exceptional design and modern technologies that will attract tourists from all over the world. Fans will experience being at the center of the action through a unique departure from the traditional stadium concept.

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium is an integral part of the urban plan for Qiddiya City and its global brand, which was announced and launched by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman. The stadium will host several local and international football competitions and is a candidate venue for the 2034 World Cup, which will be held in the Kingdom. It will be home to al-Hilal and al-Nassr football clubs. The stadium is distinguished by its advanced global technologies, including the ability to convert its field entirely within a few hours to accommodate various sports and entertainment events, such as rugby, boxing, mixed martial arts, exhibitions, major concerts, and esports tournaments.

The exterior framework of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Stadium, along with some of its walls and roof, is covered with several display screens that total 1.5 km in length. One of its distinctive technologies includes foldable and retractable flooring, roof, and upper wall, providing visitors with a view of the lower part of Qiddiya City. The stadium features advanced climate control technology, enabling year-round events and competitions without interruptions and without consuming significant amounts of energy. An environmentally friendly cooling lake is situated directly beneath the stadium, which channels rainwater collected from the stadium to an ice wall, cooling the air entering the central air conditioning system.
