Al-Jumum Governorate is one of the governorates in Makkah al-Mukarramah Province, western Saudi Arabia. It is the seventh-largest population cluster in the province. It is classified as Category B and covers an area of 5845.17 km. Its population is 89,575 according to the official statistics of the Saudi Census 2022.
Al-Jumum Governorate is located west of Makkah al-Mukarramah Province. It includes eight administrative centers: Usfan, Madrakah, Huda al-Sham, Rahat, Ain Shams, al-Fawwarah (Bani Masoud), al-Rayan, and al-Qafaif. It is a rich governorate with historical and developmental landmarks, such as al-Fath Mosque, Grain Silos and Flour Mills, and Wadi Fatimah Dam.
The governorate also has the historical Mujannah Souq, which used to take place after Okaz Market every year since pre-Islamic times. It is located on the Shami Hajj Road. It served as a meeting point for pilgrim caravans, traders, and Arabs coming to perform Hajj.

The residents of al-Jumum governorate and its visitors utilize King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, as well as Taif International Airport in Taif Governorate. The governorate can be accessed via the highway linking Makkah al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah al-Munawarah.
The University College affiliated with Umm Al-Qura University is located in Jumum Governorate. It was integrated into the university in 2006 after serving as a teacher preparation college and intermediate college.
