Taif International Airport is an international airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located in Taif Governorate in Makkah Province. It was established in 1976, five years before the establishment of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The airport is situated approximately twenty-seven km northeast of the city center of Taif.
Taif International Airport serves both domestic and international flights within the Kingdom. It serves as the air gateway to Taif, a popular summer destination in the Kingdom. Additionally, it facilitates the movement of pilgrims heading to the holy sites during Hajj and Umrah seasons. Taif International Airport is among the top five busiest international airports in the Kingdom, with a total of 10,867 international and domestic flights arriving and departing in 2019.
Taif International Airport Development Phases
Taif International Airport was one of the regional airports in the Kingdom, then it became an international airport in 2014. It was developed and expanded as part of the Taif projects within Saudi Vision 2030, increasing its area to forty-eight million m. The passenger capacity has risen to more than five million passengers annually.

Taif International Airport is managed by Cluster2 Company, one of the airport's holding companies, which is affiliated with the General Authority of Civil Aviation. The airport can be accessed directly from within the province via the new Taif Airport Road.
