Prince Abdulmajeed Bin Abdulaziz Airport in AlUla is one of the airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 2011 as a domestic airport, and was transformed into an international airport in 2021. It is located in AlUla Governorate in the northern part of the Medina Province, west of the Kingdom. It serves fifteen administrative centers affiliated with the governorate. It is supported by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in al-Madina al-Munawwarah, Prince Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Airport in Yanbu, and its operation is entrusted to the General Authority of Civil Aviation.

It is one of the most important airports in the Kingdom since it is a direct air gateway to one of the most important archaeological and tourist sites in AlUla Governorate, including Hegra, the first Saudi site registered in UNESCO's World Heritage List.
Capacity of Prince Abdulmajeed Bin Abdulaziz Airport
The airport was established with a capacity of no more than 250 thousand passengers. In ten years, its capacity increased to four hundred thousand passengers annually, with a total area of 2.4 million m. A decision was issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation to convert it to an international airport in 2021.

Air traffic increased at Prince Abdulmajeed Bin Abdulaziz Airport in conjunction with the tourist activity in the governorate, and the launch of the annual Winter at Tantora festival in 2018.
Prince Abdulmajeed Bin Abdulaziz Airport is about fifty km away from the archaeological city of Hijr, about twenty-five km east of AlUla Governorate. It can be reached in about twenty-six minutes by car via King Abdulaziz Road, and by turning towards Tariq bin Ziad Road.
