Al-Asyah Governorate
Al-Asyah Governorate is a governorate in Qassim Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is one of six governorates with the smallest population in the province, housing only 2.7 percent of the province's total population, estimated at 35,533 residents according to the Saudi Census 2022.
Location
Al-Asyah Governorate is located in the northeastern part of Qassim Province, approximately sixty-three km northwest of Buraidah, the administrative seat of the province. It shares borders with four administrative regions: the Eastern Province, the Northern Borders Province, Hail Province to the north, and Riyadh Province to the east. It is bordered by Shimasiah Governorate to the south and the administrative center of Buraidah to the west.

Residents and visitors of Al-Asyah Governorate use Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Buraidah, the nearest international airport, located 93 km away with a capacity of approximately 550,000 passengers annually. King Salman Road runs through its territory and serves as the main land transport corridor for accessing and commuting to and from Al-Asyah.
