The historic Kaf Palace is located adjacent to Al-Saidi Mountain, fifteen km from Al-Qurayyat Governorate in Al-Jawf Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It stands on a hill northeast of Kaf Village. Its construction was initiated by the governor of the province at the time, Nawaf Bin Al-Nouri Al-Shalan, and was completed in 1919. It is a square-shaped military fortress with an area of approximately 2,700 m2. In 1925, the Founding King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud took over Kaf Palace, and it later became the seat of governance in 1938.

Kaf Palace is named after Kaf Village, one of the villages that gave Al-Qurayyat its name. It is an ancient fortress with distinctive heritage and historical features, with towers distributed along its edges.

The palace served as the seat of Saudi rule in the province, where several princes worked. In 1938, the emirate headquarter was moved from Kaf Village to the current headquarter of Al-Qurayyat Governorate. The palace was then handed over to the Antiquities and Museums Unit at the Education Department in Qurayyat Governorate, where it was documented, registered, and subsequently restored.
