Al-Jawf Region in the north of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rich in numerous industries and handicrafts, including:
- Wood product manufacturing.
- Creating models from stones.
- Maintenance of bladed weapons.
- Producing products from olive oil.
- Making soap from olive oil.
- The craft of Al-Sadu weaving, which involves horizontally weaving wool threads. Textile products include: traditional tents (Bayt al-Sha‘r), carpets, rugs, cushions, pillows, packs, sand crewels, and hoods.
