The total seating capacity of King Abdullah International Stadium reaches 62,400 seats, making it the largest stadium in Jeddah City and the second-largest stadium in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after King Fahd International Stadium in the capital, Riyadh, which accommodates approximately 68,000 spectators. The stadium features a natural grass pitch and partially shaded stands.

Al-Jawhara Stadium consists of six main levels, the first level, which is designated for maintenance and operations management, as well as player services; the second level, which houses the stadium administration, press lounges, and ticket sales outlets, and also serves as an entrance to the Royal Lounge and the VIP Lounge; and the third level, which provides entry for all fans to the stadium stands and the remaining levels designated for spectators.
