It was launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in 2021 in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, represented by several Saudi universities.

Objectives of the Future Technologies Ambassadors Program

The Future Technologies Ambassadors Program aims to align educational outputs with the labor market's requirements of the technical sector in Saudi Arabia. It seeks to train and qualify its applicants in modern technologies and increase the number of technical jobs, ultimately keeping pace with the sector's growth and development.

The program contributes to preparing graduates of computer and information colleges for technical jobs in the labor market. It aims to engage faculty members and students in training to raise awareness in the technical sector, graduating several ambassadors, and supporting the creation of a community interested in technology within universities.

Services of the Future Technologies Ambassadors Program

The Future Technologies Ambassadors Program offers numerous meetings and workshops in the technical field to raise awareness. It also holds mentoring sessions in the academic field through the Attaa Digital platform, where it provides short training programs to train and qualify job seekers at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Moreover, it offers initiatives in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to enable technical development in universities and support entrepreneurship and startup projects in the technical field.

Courses of the Future Technologies Ambassadors Program

The Future Technologies Ambassadors Program is an online program that offers four skill courses covering four tracks, the Digital Project Manager track, the Business and Data Analyst track, the Cybersecurity Development track, and the Business Intelligence track.

The program supports connecting the colleges of computer and information technology in Saudi universities to the labor market by reviewing the strategies and studies related to the qualitative need for national digital capabilities. It features developing a digital transformation course for the specializations related to future technologies, including artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and augmented and virtual reality. The program also focuses on the specializations of electronic game design, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing.
