Dhahran Al-Janub Governorate
Dhahran Al-Janub (D͟hahrān al Janūb) is one of the governorates of Aseer Province, in the southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. According to the results of the 2022 census, 32,099 people live in the governorate.

Location
It is located on the Saudi-Yemeni borders and 155 km from the seat of the emirate in Abha. It is bordered to the east by Najran Province, to the west by Sarat Abidah Governorate, to the north by Tarib Governorate, and to the south by the Saudi-Yemeni borders. The traditional Thursday Market Square is the most important landmark in the city.
Services
Dhahran Al-Janub can be reached by land via the main road 15, which connects the governorate with the main cities in Saudi Arabia. Its route starts towards the north of Al-Wadiah Port on the Saudi-Yemeni border and ends at the meeting point with the main road 10 in Khamis Mushait Governorate.
Abha International Airport is the closest airport to Dhahran Al-Janub. It is located 141 km from the city center.
