The Sport Clubs Support Strategy for the 2020-2021 Sport Season is a strategy aimed at operating and developing clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enhancing administrative and financial sustainability by relying on their participation and the results they achieve within the unified points system.

Criteria of the unified points system in the Sport Clubs Support Strategy
The task force of the Sport Clubs Support Strategy established the support mechanism for the strategy’s second season based on the total points a club accumulates through its performance across various competitions and sports. Five criteria were applied in the unified points system:
Submitting a development plan for different sports.
Participating in at least ten sports.
Competing in five of the selected sports.
Competing in five of the selected sports in youth categories.
Implementing development programs for youth categories in eight of the selected sports.
Jobs created by the Sport Clubs Support Strategy
The Sport Clubs Support Strategy successfully created 3,097 job opportunities across seventy-seven clubs, marking a 129 percent increase from the season before last. These included 1,302 administrative positions, 1,510 technical positions, and 285 medical positions.
In its second season, the Sport Clubs Support Strategy added five new sports—gymnastics, esports, weightlifting, judo, and badminton—bringing the total to fifteen sports under the unified points system. These were added to the ten sports selected in the first season: volleyball, basketball, karate, table tennis, swimming, cycling, handball, athletics, tennis, and taekwondo. The eligible support was determined through the unified points system, assigning one hundred points per sport, with each point valued at SAR320,000.
