It is a government training center located in the New Industrial City in Riyadh City. Establishment of the institute
The First Secondary Industrial Institute in Riyadh is the first vocational training institute in Saudi Arabia. It was inaugurated in 1962 by King Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud under the name First Vocational Training Center in Riyadh. The institute initially operated under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (formerly). In 1980, the institute became affiliated with the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training (now the TVTC), expanding to include several departments.

The First Secondary Industrial Institute in Riyadh offers a variety of vocational programs and qualification diplomas, including three-year semester-based vocational diplomas in various specializations such as automotive mechanics, industrial electricity, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Additionally, it provides short-term training programs in photography, computer applications, home installations, automotive mechanics, and fault diagnosis and maintenance of air conditioners.
