
Abdulqader Mohammed Tash (1953–2004) was a Saudi media professional who served as editor-in-chief of several Saudi newspapers and participated in various radio and television programs.
Early life and education of Abdulqader Tash
Abdulqader Tash was born in Taif City in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Province, where he completed his education from elementary through high school. He earned a bachelor's degree in Arabic language from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in 1975. He was later sent on a scholarship to the United States, where he earned a master's degree in media from the University of Oklahoma in 1977 and a doctorate in media from Southern Illinois University in 1983.
Professional life of Abdulqader Tash
Abdulqader Tash served as Editor-in-Chief of Al-Muslimoon Newspaper from 1991 to 1995, and of Arab News in 1997. He also supervised the editorial work of Al-Risalah supplement issued by Al-Madina Newspaper in 1999, and became Editor-in-Chief of Al-Bilad Newspaper in 2001. He chaired the Board of Directors of Dar I’lam for Media Studies and also served as its Executive Director.

Abdulqader Tash published in Saudi and Arab newspapers and magazines, including Asharq Al-Awsat, Al-Jazirah, Al-Muslimoon, Al-Da’wah, Al-Mujtama’a, Al-Hajj, Al-Yamamah, Al-Ra’i, Al-Watan, and I’lam wa Ittisal. He also participated in several radio and television programs, such as Madarat Al-Ahdath on Iqraa satellite channel and Al-Majallah Al-Islamiyyah on Saudi Channel One.
