Ithra Library, part of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran, affiliated with Saudi Aramco, is one of the largest public libraries in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It houses over 326,000 books and hosts various activities that promote individual and collective learning, inspiring reading enthusiasts and knowledge seekers.

Ithra Library boasts a collection of over 326,000 printed books in both Arabic and English, offering accessibility to materials through search by title, author name, or keywords. Additionally, the library provides more than 34,000 audiobooks and seven thousand electronic newspapers and magazines.
Ithra Library services
Ithra Library offers various services for readers and researchers. It facilitates searching for any materials within its collection and provides the "Ask the Librarian" service dedicated to answering related inquiries. The library also offers dedicated study and meeting rooms at its premises, accommodating between six to twenty-one individuals and equipped with audiovisual equipment. These rooms can be reserved online. Additionally, the library offers lending services and allows members to use its collections, adhering to age-specific regulations set by the library.
Borrowing service at Ithra Library
Ithra Library offers an external borrowing service to its members under certain conditions. Members can avail of this service by visiting the library, with a maximum limit of borrowing up to five items. The borrowing period extends for two weeks from the date of borrowing, and it can be renewed once by contacting the library. In case of exceeding the specified period without returning or renewing the borrowed item, a fine of SAR2 per day will be imposed.
If the delay exceeds sixty days or if the borrowed item is damaged, it will be considered lost, and the borrower will be required to pay a late fee in addition to the value of the item and SAR30 for technical processing fees.
The library also offers internal borrowing services for its collections, such as the use of laptops and iPads, for a period of two hours according to the terms set by the library.
