Operational capacity of Saudi Cement Plant
The Saudi Cement Plant is located in Al-Ahsa Governorate, Eastern Province, approximately 120 km from Dammam City. The plant consists of three kilns. In 1997, the sixth production line was commissioned with an actual capacity of four thousand t of clinker per day. The seventh and eighth production lines were launched in 2008, with a combined actual capacity of 24,000 t of clinker per day. The total actual capacity reaches 28,000 t of clinker per day, resulting in an annual production capacity of approximately 9.2 million t of clinker (9.7 million t of cement). The raw materials are extracted from the plant's quarry, located approximately eleven km from the facility, and transported via a conveyor belt to the plant, which is equipped with advanced technologies.
