The Volunteer Work Studies Research Chair (Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Research Chair for Volunteering Works Studies at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU)) is an academic research chair specializing in studies related to volunteer work. It was established at IMSIU in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in 2013 to support volunteer work and benefit all segments of society. This initiative is part of a collaboration between the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Foundation for Human Development (PMFHD) and IMSIU, through which the foundation established two research chairs at the university—one for youth initiatives and the other for volunteer work studies.

Objectives of the Volunteer Work Studies Research Chair

The establishment of the Volunteer Work Studies Research Chair aligns with PMFHD's strategic action plan, which aims to create research chairs and programs in various fields, particularly in youth training, across multiple universities and educational institutions. The foundation seeks to reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries through its programs, which cover different regions of Saudi Arabia.
