Life of Abdulrahman Addas

Abdulrahman Addas began his higher education journey by earning a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with First-Class Honors from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in 1998. In 2001, he obtained two Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Stanford University in the United States of America (USA). He also benefited from specialized training programs at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.

Abdulrahman Addas spent nearly sixteen years practicing institutional transformation, managing and designing development strategies, providing financial consulting, and investing in digital transformation, technology, and real estate development sectors. He gained his expertise in various regions and countries around the world.

Institutional contributions

Abdulrahman Addas led Bain & Company Middle East's operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2011 to 2015. He was also a member of the Global Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Consulting Unit at Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) from 2002 to 2007 and worked at Goldman Sachs Group from 2007 to 2009. He also served as Chief Corporate Development Officer of Majid al-Futtaim Holding. In 2018, he was appointed CEO of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, holding this position until 2022.
