Data and Artificial Intelligence Glossary

The Data and Artificial Intelligence Glossary is a glossary dedicated to data and artificial intelligence launched by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority(SDAIA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with King Salman Global Academy for Arabic (KSAA) in 2022. The glossary encompasses essential terms used in the field of technology related to data and artificial intelligence and offers a brief definition for each term in both English and Arabic.

The Data and Artificial Intelligence Glossary seeks to enrich the Arabic language. It aims to contribute to raising awareness, consolidating concepts, and facilitating access to the information needed by media professionals, practitioners, researchers, and those interested in these fields.

The glossary also aspires to offer a scientific lexicon, thus ensuring content quality and ease of understanding. It aims to position itself as an essential reference for understanding the most common terms used in the fields of data and artificial intelligence.

The development of the Data and Artificial Intelligence Glossary was based on four main stages, as follows: Collecting terms and their definitions from twenty trusted sources, translating terms and their definitions in a contextually accurate manner, having experts and specialists in data and artificial intelligence conduct the technical review of these terms and definitions, and having a team of linguists carry out the linguistic review of these terms and their definitions to ensure their accuracy and consistency.
