Fashion Futures Conference 2021

The Fashion Futures Conference 2021 is an advanced version of the annual Fashion Futures Conference, which began in 2019 under the supervision of the Fashion Commission, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture. Its first session was held in person in the capital, Riyadh. It was revamped to launch on June 17, 2021, as a digital platform accessible to enthusiasts and professionals in the field from around the world.

The Digital Fashion Futures Conference aims to serve as a platform for all those interested in fashion and design within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and worldwide. It also seeks to support the sustainability of the fashion sector in Saudi Arabia and encourage entrepreneurs to establish new projects in the field.

The activities of the Fashion Futures Conference were launched through electronic events, with the participation of specialists in the field alongside several decision-makers. The sessions addressed topics emphasizing innovation and sustainability in the fashion industry from various perspectives, including dialogue sessions on the role of creative industries and fashion in supporting sustainable development, a session on the global fashion agenda, and a third session addressing collective entrepreneurship.

One of the sessions explored inspiring entrepreneurial concepts for the fashion industry. Another session, titled "Building a Legacy - Fashion - Design - Leaving a Mark," was followed by a discussion titled "An Introduction to Leadership: The Face of Leadership." A session on "Design Inspiration through Culture and Style" was also held, while the eighth session focused on "Diversity and Inclusion as a Business Model." Additionally, a session was dedicated to discussing "Technologies and People in the Supply Chain Toward Sustainability."

A session titled "The Female Founder - Overcoming Your Fears" was held, followed by the eleventh session, which discussed "The Impact of Fashion on Social Issues." The subsequent session addressed "Environmental Efforts in Fashion through Entrepreneurship." The thirteenth session focused on "Transparency in Fashion Partnerships," while another session explored "Media and Institutional Focus on Sustainability."

The fifteenth session was titled "Impact Toward Sustainability," followed by "The Future of Fashion - Conservation - Oceans - Activism." The conference concluded with a session titled "The Future of Fashion Is Now."
