Abdullah Bin Awad Al-Juhani (born in 1976) is an imam and preacher at the Grand Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. He led prayers at the Prophet's Mosque and Quba Mosque for four years, and the Qiblatain Mosque for two years before moving to Makkah Al-Mukarramah. In 2005, he was appointed by a supreme decision to lead the Taraweeh prayers at the Grand Mosque.

The life of Abdullah Al-Juhani

Abdullah Al-Juhani was born in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, where he memorized the Quran during his early childhood at Al-Ashraf Mosque in the western Al-Harrah Neighborhood in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. At the age of sixteen, he won first place in the International Quran Competition in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

The early career of Abdullah Al-Juhani

Abdullah Al-Juhani obtained his bachelor's degree from the College of Quran at the Islamic University in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. He was appointed as a faculty member at the Teachers College in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, then as a teaching assistant at Umm al-Qura University in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, in the Department of Quran and Sunnah at the College of Da'wah and Fundamentals of Religion. Between 2009 and 2012, he obtained a master's degree and a doctorate in Quranic interpretation.

Abdullah Al-Juhani was certified by renowned scholars of Quranic recitation who praised his recitation, including Sheikh Al-Zayyat, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Akhdar Al-Qayyim, the chief reciter of the Prophet's Mosque, Dr. Ali Al-Hudhaifi, imam of the Prophet's Mosque in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and Sheikh Mohammed Ayub.
