Princess Haifa Bint Mohammed began her career in the financial sector in Britain, then continued her work in the same sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2017, she was appointed to the General Sports Authority (currently the Ministry of Sport). She also held the position of Secretary General in the Formula E Committee -Diriyah. She then assumed the position of assistant to the Minister of Tourism for Executive and Strategic Affairs, where she was appointed by a Royal Order issued on July 4, 2022. She is the senior Deputy Minister of Tourism for Strategy and Investment, a board member of the Tourism Development Fund, Vice Chairperson for Women's Affairs at the Saudi Fencing Federation, and Chairwoman of the Women's Committee at the Arab Fencing Federation.

Princess Haifa Bint Mohammed contributed to supporting women's sports in the Kingdom during her appointment to the General Sports Authority (currently the Ministry of Sport).
