The Red Sea Project covers an area of 28,000 km² and is located between al-Wajh and Umluj Cities in Tabuk Province, northwestern the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project is an archipelago consisting of more than ninety islands along the western coast of the Kingdom, approximately fifty dormant volcanic cones, as well as a collection of lands, lakes, clear beaches, sand dunes, mountains, and coral reefs rich in marine habitats and coral ecosystems.
The Red Sea Project consists of fifty resorts, featuring eight thousand hotel rooms and more than one thousand residential properties across twenty-two islands and six inland sites. The project also includes a luxury marina and recreational facilities within the Red Sea.
