Al-Fanateer Beach

Al-Fanateer Beach is one of the ‏beaches in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia‏, located in al-Jubayl Industrial City in the Eastern Province. It spans an area of 19.3 ha and features a sandy shoreline stretching one thousand m, under the supervision of the Royal Commission for Jubail.

Al-Fanateer Beach offers various facilities, including green spaces, palm-thatched pergolas, children’s play areas, a fitness training zone, and a marina. The beach also features the Roman Theater, Peace Garden Theater, Cultural Conference Center, Multipurpose Hall, Conference Center, Knowledge and Innovation Center Theater, and al-Jubayl Downtown.

Al-Fanateer Beach hosts festivals throughout the year. Among these are the National Day celebrations organized by the Public Events Committee, the Founding Day festivities managed by the Social Services Department of the Royal Commission for Jubail, and the Ramadan Nights Charity Festival hosted by the Royal Commission for Jubail. The Wireless Car Championship is organized and supervised by the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports 'Tahakom.' The Royal Commission for Jubail also hosts the Gardens and Plants Exhibition, the Flower Exhibition, the Heritage of Nations Festival, and the Hello Holiday 'Hala Bil-Ijaza' Festival.

Among the activities held at al-Fanateer Beach, which attract residents of al-Jubayl Industrial City, visitors, and tourist delegations, are boat cruises departing from al-Fanateer Marina along the city’s seventeen-km-long coastline. The tours also extend to islands affiliated with al-Jubayl City, such as Jana, Jareed, and Karan, offering opportunities for swimming, fishing, and exploring fish breeding areas.

The beach hosts military performances, including the Eastern Fleet's musical band and displays by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. These include demonstrations of special mission boats, rope descents and rescues, diver deployments, parachute drops, landing ship exhibitions, aerial shows by the Royal Saudi Air Force fighter jets, and showcases by the Border Guard Forces. Along with these performances, an exhibition featuring the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Air Defense Forces. The beach also hosts exhibitions of sailing boats, marine vessels, vertical aviation displays, and a naval forces exhibition.
