The Visitors Assistance Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the programs offered by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The program offers aid to the Yemeni, Syrian, and Rohingya visitors of the Kingdom. The program covers many aspects of supporting visitors, including offering educational services via assisting primary education students and providing scholarships for some higher education students. The program also offers medical services in healthcare centers and government hospitals. Furthermore, it provides some beneficiaries with residency permits to stay in the Kingdom.
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center is a globally recognized center that offers crucial humanitarian aid to those in need. Established in 2015 under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the center is based in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Since its establishment until 2023, the center has provided relief assistance to around eighty countries, including Yemen, Palestine, and Syria in Asia; Somalia, Sudan, and Nigeria in Africa; Albania and Poland in Europe; and Honduras and Nicaragua in North America.
Yemen tops the list of countries that mostly benefit from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's relief projects with 105 projects, followed by Syria with forty-five projects. The total number of relief projects launched by the center amounts to around 467 completed and in-force projects, and the largest number is designated for the health sector.
