Aseer Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosts several government hospitals that provide healthcare services to both citizens and residents within the province and beyond. These hospitals are:
- Armed Forces Hospital Southern Region: Opened in 1964, it is located in the military city of Khamis Mushayt. The hospital has been upgraded and expanded to accommodate 571 beds.
- Aseer Central Hospital: Located in Abha, its outpatient clinics served over 241,000 beneficiaries in 2022. During that year, it conducted laboratory tests for more than 3.6 million beneficiaries and performed over 11,000 surgeries.
- King Abdullah Hospital: Located in Bishah Governorate, it includes a kidney center, a medical rehabilitation center, outpatient clinics, and an emergency department.
- An-Namas General Hospital: Located in an-Namas Governorate, it has been upgraded with virus screening equipment, an ultrasound machine, a newborn hearing assessment device, ventilators, and a dental clinic.
- Abha Maternity and Children Hospital: Located in Abha City and dedicated to providing healthcare for mothers and children, it ranked third among the Ministry of Health’s distinguished hospitals in the second quarter of 2022.
- Khamis Mushayt General Hospital: Expanded its services in 2022 to include a gastroenterology and endoscopy unit, and an early colorectal cancer screening clinic was introduced in the outpatient department.
- Khamis Mushayt Maternity and Children Hospital: Offered treatment services to over 58,000 patients, delivered five thousand babies in 2022, and houses a center for developmental and behavioral disorders.
- Dhahran al-Janub Hospital: Provides treatment, medical, and emergency services to patients in Dhahran al-Janub Governorate and its affiliated centers in Dhahran al-Janub Governorate.
- Sarat Abidah General Hospital: Served over 15,000 outpatients in 2021, performed more than three thousand surgeries, conducted nearly four thousand dialysis sessions, over 5,700 physical therapy sessions, and made 2,800 home visits to patients through the home medical team.
- Mahayil General Hospital: A women's and maternity emergency department was added to its health services in 2023.
- Rijal Alma Hospital: Located in Rijal Alma Governorate, it has been equipped with an advanced anesthesia machine in the surgery department, a portable neonatal ventilator with its accessories, an ultrasound examination table, a mobile digital X-ray device, and a general C-arm machine in the surgery department.
- Ahad Rufaydah General Hospital: The hospital, located in Ahad Rufaydah Governorate, provided services to over 536,000 patients in 2022.
