Cybersecurity Bootcamps are training camps in the field of cybersecurity launched by the National Cybersecurity Authority on June 6, 2024, in collaboration with the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE). These bootcamps target undergraduate students specializing in cybersecurity or related disciplines.

Location of Cybersecurity Bootcamps

The Cybersecurity Bootcamp training sessions were held in the capital, Riyadh, as well as in the cities of Jeddah and al-Khobar. The bootcamps lasted for three weeks, starting on July 7, 2024.

Objectives of Cybersecurity Bootcamps

The Cybersecurity Bootcamps aim to develop and enhance students' skills in cybersecurity, reduce the gap between supply and demand for specialized human resources in the field, and contribute to improving the quality of national competencies in cybersecurity to meet the needs of the job market in the Kingdom.

Stages of the Cybersecurity Bootcamps

The Cybersecurity Bootcamps were conducted in two stages. The first involved theoretical training, offering two courses in cybersecurity. The second stage provided intensive practical training through cyber exercises simulating real-world scenarios to enhance skills and apply the knowledge gained.

Eligibility criteria for joining the Cybersecurity Bootcamps

Enrollment in the Cybersecurity Bootcamps requires meeting several criteria: Applicants must be Saudi nationals, university students majoring in cybersecurity or related fields, available to attend the training camp full-time, and must pass the bootcamp admission test.
