Tourists and businesspeople from all nationalities are required to obtain an entry visa to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in advance, except for citizens from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, who are exempt from this requirement.
Types of Saudi visas
- Stopover Transit Visa: It is issued electronically for those arriving by air and valid for three months, with a stay of up to four days in the Kingdom.
- Work Visa (Permanent or Temporary): It is issued for those seeking employment in the Kingdom.
- Investor Visa: It is issued for business owners and investors looking to finalize business transactions or establish enterprises in the Kingdom.
- Hajj and Umrah Visa.
- Visit Visa: It is divided into two categories:
First: family visits are granted to legal residents.
Second: business visits for concluding contracts or agreements with Saudi entities.
- Dependent Visas for spouses and children granted for those who wish to bring their families.
- Diplomatic Visa: Granted to consulate staff accredited in the Kingdom and their resident dependants.
- Businessperson Visa: Valid for multiple entries for twelve months.
- Business Visit Visa: An electronic service for businesspeople visiting the Kingdom.
- Commercial Visit Visa: To request visits for individual(s) in executive positions who have business relations with the inviting company.
Exhibitor and Speaker Visa: Verified by the National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences.
- Tourist Visa: Valid for one year, allowing a stay of up to ninety days.
- Government Entity Visit Visa: For visiting (non-registered) government entities, non-governmental organizations, public benefit associations, or charities in the Kingdom.
- Medical Visa: Enables medical facilities in the Kingdom to invite individuals from abroad for treatment.
- Student Visa: Allows educational institutions in the Kingdom to invite students from abroad for study.
