Saudi Smash Tournament is one of the "Grand Smash" tournaments on the World Table Tennis (WTT) calendar, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the first time in 2024.

The Kingdom hosted the "Grand Smash 2024" for table tennis under the title, "Saudi Smash 2024." The event featured international players in the singles (men's and women's), doubles (men's and women's), and mixed doubles. It was organized by the Saudi Arabian Table Tennis Federation (TTF) under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport and in collaboration with the World Table Tennis (WTT).
The tournament commenced on May 1 and concluded on May 11, 2024, with the participation of 256 male and female players, under the auspices of WTT. The competitions took place at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. The qualifying stage on its first day featured forty-two matches with eighty-four players representing thirty-five countries. Sixty-four top-tier table tennis players advanced to the final rounds of the men's and women's singles tournaments. Additionally, twenty-four teams competed in three categories: men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The tournament offered free admission to the public and boasted a prize pool of USD2 million.
Saudi Smash 2024 champions
The Chinese player 'Wang Chuqin,' ranked first internationally, clinched the men's singles title after defeating the German player 'Patrick Franziska,' ranked sixteenth internationally, with a score of four to two.
The Chinese female player 'Chen Meng,' ranked fourth internationally, clinched the women's singles after defeating the world's first-ranked fellow Chinese player 'Sun Yingsha,' with a score of four to two.
The Chinese duo 'Wang Chuqin,' the world's first-ranked male player, and 'Sun Yingsha,' the world's first-ranked female player, achieved the title in the mixed doubles category in Saudi Smash 2024 with a score of three-nil.
The Chinese duo 'Wang Chuqin' and 'Ma Long' clinched the men's doubles category in Saudi Smash 2024 with a score of three-nil.
In the women's doubles competition, the Chinese team comprising 'Chen Ming' and 'Wang Manyu' clinched the title with a score of three-nil.
