Flyadeal logo is known for its violet color with two parallel lines in light green. The name is written in two languages, Arabic and English, on the external structures of the planes. The rear, tail, and wingtips of the plane are violet, and the name extends from the front to the middle.
Development of flyadeal's operations
Flyadeal obtained a national operator license from GACA in 2017. Its first flights began in the same year, coinciding with the eighty-seventh Saudi National Day.
In August 2017, flyadeal celebrated the arrival of its first plane (Airbus A320), which flew from an Airbus aircraft manufacturer in Hamburg, Germany, to Jeddah City. The aircraft was named 'al-Nayyir,' meaning a bright star.
During the first year upon the first flights, flyadeal had only eight destinations with forty-four flights per day. Flyadeal's fleet had only eight Airbus A320 CEO aircraft with merely one class travel and 186 passengers. Afterward, the fleet expanded to have fourteen airplanes with one hundred flights per day in 2019, heading to eleven inland stations.
In 2022, flyadeal received an Airbus A320neo, increasing the number of aircraft in its fleet to twenty-six modern aircraft, all of which are Airbus 320, including fifteen A320neo aircraft and eleven A320ceo aircraft.
By 2023, flyadeal's domestic and international network destinations had increased to thirty-one destinations (eighteen domestic and thirteen international). The number of its passengers reached twenty-five million passengers boarding its fleet of thirty-two modern aircraft, and its staff exceeded a thousand employees.

The airline operates on fifty-eight routes across three regions: Europe, including Istanbul, Turkey; Africa, including Cairo, Egypt; the Middle East, including Dubai, UAE; and fifteen cities in the Kingdom, which are the following: Abha, al-Bahah, Dammam, Riyadh, Taif, Qassim, al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, al-Hufuf, Baysh, Tabuk, Jazan, Jeddah, Hail, Najran, and NEOM.

Flyadeal won the 'CAPA's Aviation Awards for Excellence' in the Asia Pacific region for 'Airline Startup of the Year 2018' at the awards ceremony held in Singapore. The awards are given to airlines demonstrating an outstanding strategy during the year, significantly affecting the aviation industry and development, establishing themselves as role leaders, and imposing new standards for others.
In 2022, flyadeal also received two awards, the Best Low-Cost Airline Brand and the Fastest Growing Airline Brand in the Kingdom, during the Global Brands Award held in Dubai.
In 2022, flyadeal announced its membership in the International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP), an organization that brings together airlines, aircraft maintenance companies, and parts suppliers.
