As part of the Saudi Summer 2021 program, the Saudi Tourism Authority launched cruise trips in the Red Sea, featuring the "Bellissima" ship. This ship embarked on a journey from the Red Sea coast to Aqaba in Jordan and Safaga in Egypt.
The cruise offered a variety of amenities, including hotel services, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, health clubs, beauty salons, and numerous restaurants and cafes. Additionally, the ship housed a library with books on various topics and featured theatrical performances.
Cruise activities included water games, children's games, a dedicated lounge for electronic entertainment enthusiasts, balconies for sunrise and sunset views, deck chairs for sea-watching, a sports activity hall, and a ninety-six-m walkway for walking enthusiasts.
"Aroya Cruise", the first cruise line in the Kingdom affiliated with "Cruise Saudi", a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, unveiled its first cruise ship. This vessel is 335 m long, spans eighteen decks, including a water park, and features 1,682 cabins.
Cruises in al-Jubail Industrial City in the Eastern Province
Al-Jubail Industrial City in the Eastern Province boasts two marinas that attract tourists year-round: Al-Fanateer Marina and Dareen Marina.
Al-Jubail City's cruise line stretches over seventeen km and includes several affiliated islands, such as Jana, Jarid, and Kiran. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities and events, including swimming, fishing, parties, and exploring fish breeding areas.
The city center's waterfront features a three-thousand-m-long promenade, while al-Fanateer Beach, the newest beach in the city, offers a one-thousand-m-long sandy shore. The Royal Commission for al-Jubail has developed several projects, including the boat marina and aquarium museum in Mardouma Bay, the boat marina at Dana Beach, and enhancements to the boat marina at al-Fanateer Beach.

Yanbu City, located in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Province, offers a variety of marine tourism experiences, featuring well-maintained beaches and a vibrant marine environment.

Notable among these is the sunken British ship 'Iona', which has been underwater for over a century following a collision with coral reefs. Other historical vessels at the bottom of the Red Sea include a Greek ship and a Chinese boat encrusted with coral and seaweed.
Yanbu's waters are renowned for their coral reef formations known as the 'Seven Sisters'. Diving enthusiasts can capture underwater photographs using cameras provided by local diving centers.
