Naif Palace is one of the historical palaces in Hail Province in the northern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located in the historical city of Jubbah and was built by Atiq Bin Muslim Bin Farhan in 1758.

Components of Naif Palace

Naif Palace was built from mud and includes a majlis (guest reception area) with an area of about sixty m. Inside the palace is an old well that was dug before its construction. Currently, the rooms of the palace are used to display some archaeological artifacts, various agricultural products, and the production of some regional handicrafts. Additionally, the palace houses thousands of ancient artifacts that reflect several historical periods experienced by the province bordering the desert.

Archaeological artifacts of Naif Palace

The palace's artifacts include coffee tools, some clothing, jewelry, and old women's adornment tools, as well as sewing tools and leather products such as water bags and mats. Additionally, there are several copper items used for storing drinking water, such as jugs and pitchers. The collection also includes a variety of weapons and war tools.

Heritage Village Project in Jubbah

Naif Palace is part of the Heritage Village Project in Jubbah, a governorate located in the northwest of Hail City. The (former) General Commission for Tourism and National Heritage organized this project as part of its initiatives to preserve architectural heritage in Saudi provinces. Naif Palace represents one of the components of the Heritage Village Center and is an integral part of its architectural fabric. The project aims to preserve the historical and cultural identity of Jubbah, economically utilize its architectural heritage, and capitalize on its tourism potential.
