Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City is a medical center and rehabilitation city, one of the projects of the Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation. It was inaugurated in 2002 and provides rehabilitation services through advanced human and technical competencies and specialized programs designed to restore patients to their natural state, foster self-reliance, and enable societal integration.
The city is one of the largest projects of the Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation, covering a total area of 1.2 million m². It operates with a capacity of four hundred beds and includes various facilities such as a medical rehabilitation center, a convalescent and elderly care center, a child development center, an outpatient clinic building, a sports activity hall, an administrative building, a conference hall, and housing facilities.

The services provided by Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City are divided into two main sections: The first one is rehabilitation. The city houses the largest medical rehabilitation center in the Middle East for individuals suffering from physical, congenital, or cognitive disabilities. This center spans an area of 26,800 m², has a capacity of 250 beds, and can accommodate around 4,500 patients annually.
The rehabilitation center offers several programs, including the Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Program, providing rehabilitative care for individuals with different types of paralysis, the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program, the Amputee Rehabilitation Program, the Stroke Rehabilitation Program, and the Pediatric Rehabilitation and Early Intervention Program.
The second section of the city is the outpatient clinics, which include all medical specialties and their supportive services, specifically those related to rehabilitation.
